May be too much information for some. Proceed at your own risk

This morning, alexander woke up earlier than usual. This was predictable since he fell asleep last night at about 6:30, and because his parents had considered activity which might result in the sibling he's been requesting for some time. Mornings seem to often work better for us, simply because we're less likely to be too damn tired to do anything (as is often the case for one or both of us at night), but produce the occasional incidence of child-induced coitus interruptus.
So he's awake, happy, talking (kid rarely shuts up), wanting to play. [livejournal.com profile] damashita convinces him to go play in his room, and since we're both awake at this point, we figure we'd have some *ahem* adult time.
Time passes, without interruptions, almost miraculously (those of you with kids will understand how this is), and we're *just* finishing up, when we suddenly hear this little voice from the other room shouting "Yaaaaaay! Yaaaaaaaay!" It simply becomes too hard not to start laughing at this point.
