Did that make you look? Sorry. I was referring to my new habit of journalling here where just about anyone can read my little rants and thoughts, not that that many people are going to be interested in doing so..
It has been really nice to have the last few days off, and the concept of a two day work week is a pretty nice one also. I still think i'd rather spend a full five days working at a project that interested me than just two on Office.
As of scanning my mail this morning, nothing yet from the hiring manager who is filling the game designer position. Oh, well. His loss if he doesn't get back to me. We'll see, though- it may well be time to leave Microsoft, because i really don't see myself committing to working on Office for the next fourteen months. My concerns are going to centre around finding something with a compensation and benefit package that won't absolutely kill us if i do end up leaving, though. I may at least inquire about the Assistant Editor position open at Ron and Shelley's new company, though, because they care about their employees.
I'm going to try writing a bit on Melpomene's Daughter tonight- had started addig a bit a few days ago, but realized I didn't know where the story was going, and didn't force it because that's a sure way to produce total crap.
