Dinner and a movie

Tonight, we had our evening repast at the home of dear friend greenshadows and his partner A.

Good eats, even without Alton Brown (you'll probably only get this if you're a Food Network viewer), better talk, and Chicago. More anon.

Ooooo Chicago...

Dare I ask where the kiddos where? Were they kidnapped by pirates? Or sold into slavery? Or did they come along and behave themselves? Shock.

Well, the older one had a "difficult" evening. ;) Really can't blame the kid; the pasta was too garlicky for a 5-year old palate (almost too much for me, even) and the movie couldn't have been very interesting for him either, so wingedelf carted him away right after the "Cell Block Tango" number. The baby had a better night...sittin' there looking like Winston Churchill and smiling a lot. :b

Both were around for diner, and i took alexander over to grandma Mary before we were far into the movie, because he was getting antsy.
