I think i set a new high for profanity used in one of my journal posts last night, and most of them that good old-fashioned Anglo-Saxon copulative in its various forms.

Spent much of the night unable to sleep, and some of it playing with a few ideas. ajka- is Gothic Scouts still looking for ranks and badges? I've a few ideas i'm playing with which might fit in nicely. Insomnia==creativity sometimes.

Anyway, enough blather for the moment. Time to get showered and ready to face the day, with maybe a little more photoshop dabbling if the time permits.

Yaaay!

Here's what i was thinking of at, oh, 1:30 am last night.
Four distinct ranks:
Arachnid
Desmodid (from the taxonomic classification of the vampire bat- Desmodus rotundis)
Corvid
something to be determined- i'd rather keep in a theme, but Thespian keeps popping to mind.

A 'troop' leader is, contingent on gender, either Dramatis Regina or Dramatis Rex (Drama Queen or King).

Here's the rank badge idea i was playing with for the first two:


Haven't found an appropriately sized crow or raven image for the third one yet, but it'll be a still slightly lighter grey with black Eye of Horus and corvid, with accent colours in the deep greens. If i end up doing a Thespian anyway, it'd be a black Tragedy mask and Eye on very light grey with garnet/blood coloured accents.

Awards of pregress toward the next level can be teardrops, either black with silver accent or vice-versa&mdash- i have a mental image but wanted to finish the others first.

Anyway, let me know what you think. I'm open to all sorts of input.
