ravencallscrows | A Beginning of an End?!?

Well, in spite of traffic being horrible this morning (it took 2½ hours to get in this morning, due to a major accident on I-5 northbound, which of course everyone southbound had to stop and look at), i'm feeling pretty damn good.
"Why," you ask, dear reader? I can understand that. It's so unlike me to be positive, especially before noon and even more so on a Monday.

Well, in my work e-mail this morning was a response from Liz's friend Jo, who's the one filling the technical editor spot, asking me to set up a meeting with her. OK, so it's only an "informative" (MS-speak for a pre-interview interview, designed to let the candidate and the manager meet to be sure that what the applicant thinks the job may be matches with what the person who's filling it knows it is), but it's a step toward getting out of testing things in languages which look like toddler scribble, and more of a bite than i've gotten from the manager who's hiring for the job i think i really want (who has had the position open since last August, so it may not be a real position that he has the budget to fill currently, although i'd at least have let anyone asking about it know that that was the case if i were he).
