These were taken at the side of our house a few days ago. Since then, we've had more blooms pop up. As usual, click the small images for the full size versions in a new window.

Feeling spring-like yet?

oooh Pretty! It's raining (and raining and raining) here so everything that's not ice is snow and everything that's not snow is slush and everything that's not slush is mud. Oh the joy of spring...Of course, it was 12 degrees here yesterday so all the rain we had the day before froze and covered Connecticut in a solid sheet of ice, then it all melted last night when the temperature got up to 40 and it started raining. *sigh* Can we skip the muddy part of spring...pleeeeeeease?

The pink one is a snap dragon I think.....no, maybe not. It's been too long since I've seen flowers. Sigh.

WE GOT A SNOW DAY!!!!!!!

Thank ye gods for little miracles. I guess I can't curse the snow too much.

Kind of hard to tell.. but my first thought on seeing them was "foxglove".

Double check on that, because if it is foxglove, then it's highly toxic.

But very pretty. :)

So we've heard from our new sorta-girlfriend, who lives about a half-hour west of Grand Rapids.

Yeah! Grand Rapids. I live around two hours south of Grand Rapids. :)
You know what's fun about living in Michigan (at least the lower peninsula) is that when you need a map, you can just hold out your right hand and point to where things are. :)
