No cards and candy and assorted other commercial michigass here. Not in the budget, this year especially. Instead, we just spent a quiet day, mostly around the house- played part of a game with alexander, ran a few errands, and chatted up![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hottoastermama again for about an hour and a half. Thank the Divine for LocalDial, which lets us (using voice over IP technology) call anywhere in the continental US as if it were a local call- it's nice to be able to talk to people who are some distance away without worrying about the phone bills. It's even enough to make me get past the general aversion to telephones left over from my time in tech support.
