Music Therapy
Feb. 5th, 2003 04:46 pmWell, given yesterday's misadventures, i spent a chunk of the day today with the Seagull. Fumbled through the music i have and figured i had most of the traditional songs from Great Big Sea's Turn CD in one form or another and figured i could fake the rest since the majority are in C, G, D, or relative minors Played all the way through the disc and came back for seconds on Jack Hinks, Boston and St. John's, Trois Navires de Blé and Ferryland Sealer and sang along with Margarita and Old Brown's Daughter. Still haven't gotten competent enough to feel confident playing outside the house, but feeling progress at staying fairly close to things played at full tempo.
