Just got off the phone with an HR person at one of the companies to which i've applied. That's the first for this job search- and hopefully it's the precursor of things to come. It'd be about a 40% paycut, but probably just barely affordable- it'd be tight, but it's at a rate higher than unemployment. I'm also probably way overqualified for the position, but not grossly enough that i shouldn't get offerred it.
Anyway, i now declare the floodgates open- so the people who can afford to pay better are free to call now. Hopefully they will now. ← shameless hope that someone will.
