The best part of painting....

is looking at the freshly painted walls at the end of the day and deciding that they look damn good.
Ended up just being damashita and me at the start of the day. Later her mom and step-dad and lokheed joined us. Made things go much more quickly with five sets of hands working at it for a few hours. By the time the extra hands left, we were pretty much done except for ragging the bedroom. The bedroom took until 8 o'clock to finish, but it looks awesome in two tones of purple.
The effect is so amazing, i'm seriously considering picking up some darker green paint and doing the living room and dining room the same way when we go down on Wednesday before the SeaGoth beach burn.

Sounds like it's pretty hoopy. Can't wait until we can get a chance to see it (eventually). Wish we could have been there to help, but you moved a year too early for us :-( Oh well, at least you get to help us move ;-)

Oh, absolutely. Don't know that we'll be able to help on the loading end of things, but definitely on the unloading.

I'll have pictures when we get through all of this- took some before painting, will take some on Wednesday, and also post-occupation Sunday or Monday.
