ravencallscrows....at least as far as the people at work will be concerned, whether we have any on the ground here or not. The forecast is calling for 1-4 inches overnight, but they've been wrong so far. Bobby's not going in- they got lots of snow, but elevation-wise they're probably 750 feet higher, and I don't think I'm going to drive it alone (cause that just generally sucks).
First D&D session was today, and went pretty well. Still a little sluggish for most people in their initative phases of the combat round, but hopefully it'll get better as the slower people get acclimated and stop asking "can I do...." and just determine if it's a free action, a partial action, or a full one and proceed accordingly.
We're going to have some interesting character dynamics developing from the various personalities- Adriana is already inclined to like Damashita, Maedhros and Kethern, and to dislike Madeline. We'll see... but I'm not about to ask her to watch my back, lest she decide to watch my belongings by assuming ownership of them as well. (nothing against aylara, who plays her, but Madeline seems to be quite the bitch)
