Well, I saw the best reason for a traffic jam EVER on the way home from work today. Between Everett and Marysville the left lane of I-5 was closed...

because there was a Great Blue Heron standing in the middle of the lane!

If i'd realized Bobby had his digital camera in the car, we'd have had heron photos taken at a distance of about 6-8 feet.

That'd be really cool to see. We have a crane that makes it's home in the lake by my house but it's shy, I've tried to get pictures while driving by but the minute a car slows down he takes off. I've had wild turkeys almost fly into my car and the other day a mama and baby deer crossed the road in front of me. But a Great Blue Heron? That'd be cool.
