Well, I'm ready for my talk with HR. Sat down this morning, and instead of doing "productive" work, I sat down and wrote out a bullet-pointed list of things i wanted to be sure to discuss, so that i wouldn't get side-tracked and waste time there. It's a little over a page long of 10 point Times New Roman, so fitting it all into a half hour will be a trick. I also printed out a copy of my mid-year evaluation, and the e-mail i wrote when my boss asked me to come up with a few specific objectives for the February-August period. At the time, i didn't think anything of this, but i vaguely recalled he used them in his comments. Looking at it now, he rearranged two of the ones i wrote, split another into three different points, and posted them verbatim as his comments. In my eyes, this is clear-cut plagiarism, and seriously compromises his integrity, but we'll see what HR thinks. One way or another, i think i'll be greatly relieved when this is done.

Granted. There's a bit of a difference, though, in asking someone to write objectives specifically for the coming (half-)year, and, then when the list was submitted to ensure that what i thought i should be focusing on are the same sorts of things he thought i should focus on, presenting the list as if they were assigned objectives he'd developed for me. It was by far the most minor of my points.
