Amazingly enough, in the US as well- ESPN had Colorado-Los Angeles earlier and Detroit-St. Louis in an hour.
It has been a pretty laid-back day. We almost had snow last night. Instead, we had white hail about the size of the polystyrene balls you'd find in a beanbag chair or you'd find in packaging from a really masochistic vendor. Not a lot- almost enough to cover the grass. Here's the forecast for the rest of the weekend:
This afternoon...showers with a chance thunderstorms. Snow level near 200 feet. Hit and miss
accumulations of 1 or 2 inches. Highs 35 to 40. Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight... snow showers. Chance of evening thunderstorms. Hit and miss accumulations of 1 or 2 inches.
Lows near 30. Southeast winds 5 to 15 mph.

Sunday... snow showers. Possible accumulations of 1 or 2 inches. Highs near 35. Wind becoming northeast
10 to 20 mph.

Sunday night... partly cloudy and breezy. Lows 20 to 25.

Hopefully there will amount to enough to mean work gets closed Monday. Snow is forecast again on Tuesday, so with any luck, it'll be a three-day week or less. I can always hope. It just seems so odd that snow is so rare here- especially since the Cascades are so close and it's not much of a drive to places where there is real accumulations- Mt. Baker reported over a hundred inches of new snowfall during the last week. Makes me wish I could afford to go skiing!
Gaming tomorrow- and hopefully more snow. :-)
