What an interesting evening.

ravencallscrowsHome from a night out at the Mercury. I'm finally a member, by the way, and just in time for prom, which is coming up a week from this coming Friday.
I was so amazingly out of character tonight it was really amusing. I think a handful of people saw a side of me i wasn't sure really existed. Must have been the hat- or at least, that's going to be my excuse.
Yes, complete with royal blue and black velvet jester's hat (to coordinate with the royal blue silk shirt and black pants), i was at various points loopy, silly, goofy, bouncy and perky, and easily amused all night. My hat even managed to acquire decoration- Stax had glow sticks, three of which ended up adorning the prongs of the hat. Danced until i was out of breath, with no one in particular, which is also really unusual for me. Talked with lots of interesting folk, as usual. To top it all off, i heard that the Red Wings won in triple overtime, on a goal from Igor Larionov, who's been my hero since the days i played.
Anyway, now that i'm done playing raver-goth, i'm going to go get some sleep.
