*Grumblegrumblegrumble!*
Well, everyone at work was supposed to be able to go to Star Wars tomorrow, with tickets apportioned out to the various group admin assistants for either a daytime show (10ish, IIRC) or 12:01 a.m..
Of course, my group is the red-headed stepchild around here (some things never change- i always seem to work in these sorts of places, damnit), so instead of getting a mix of the two, they sent a few of the daytime ones, and the rest for the midnight show. Guess who isn't going?
Two hours of movie and an hour and a half drive home afterward?
Nofuckingthankyouverymuch.
Not getting home at 3:30 a.m. and having to go back around 8ish. Nope. I can wait a week or two and take the whole family (*which i'd end up doing anyway*).
Wheeee! Some morale-building event. I feel so much better about where i work now than i used to.
Someone come rescue me? Please?

Oh honey, i am so sorry. Perhaps you could post to a public MS folder and ask for someone to switch tickets with you?? Or take the ticket and sell it on the black market (or give to Ron, i'm sure he'd go).

Not if it's missing as much as your print of Spiderman- we went to see that over the weekend, and of the 15 minutes or so i'd watched at your place, there were already 4 scenes missing.

They've been gone since about 15 minutes after they arrived- and didn't have enough to go around anyway. This was either a poorly planned or poorly executed attempt to do an event.

Sounds like both. Bleh. Well, it will be a grand family affair. We'll get Episode One and watch it, then go to the theater w/ alexander and eat yummy popcorn and cherry coke. :)
