Back from the Seagoth Beltane Beach Party

...and wow, was it fun. Finally put faces and names together for a number of people, and, almost two hours after leaving i still remember a bunch of the names- which is bordering on the miraculous, since i usually suck at remembering them. Finally met Stax/AutumnGray, who lived up every bit to my expectations and Cadmus' advance billing (betcha you didn't know there was judging, didya?), saw RowanSilverwing, met a Grace, a Sarah, a Berta and a few other people; saw Riff/Retcon, met three Adams, a pair of Joshes, an Aaron, a Dragon (again) and a Nathan.
The fire performers were truly amazing to watch. Wish i'd been able to find the infrared film i was looking for, because it'd have been really cool to shoot. Maybe next time- Cadmus, keep me posted when your troupe is going to perform!
With the spirit of the holiday, i was shown something, and i'm pretty certain it ties in directly with the relationship i have with Brighid and the Morrigan. If you're someone who i know well enough that you've shared some part of your inner or outer struggles with me, you've probably gotten some sort of protective or parental vibe from me at some point- probably moreso if you're female, but also (although i think to a lesser extent) with the guys. If me playing knight-errant or Iain Nottingham to your Sara Pezzini has been too weird at any point, let me know about it, and i'll try to figure out some way to lighten up. More on the spiritual connection as it continues to coalesce in my head, but for now i need to shower off the bonfire smoke and go to bed.

Fucking a! I showed up at the beach @ 10:50 only to find 5 or 6 cop cars telling everyone to get the hell out. I thought people were being arrested. Fucking cops. I promptly turned around and sped off to avoid any confrontation.

You talk of "knight errant" tendencies and your affiliation with the Morrigan and Brighid as being related to that. I keep having these "mama bear" moments lately (fiercely protective of those I see as "my charges" whether they truly qualify or no) and have similar ties. Coincidence? Hmm...

Nope. I religiously refuse to believe in coincidences, of this nature anyway, but rather prefer to think that the Divine Ones like for us to figure out some things for ourselves, even if they sometimes have to drop a piece of the puzzle on us for us to get it.
