Wheee! I'm amused. Ryan Geiss is a pretty brilliant guy, I think. Drempels are one of his ongoing projects. They now interlace with your Windows desktop if you so choose (sorry, Mac and *ix users, I don't think versions exist for you yet) and provide fluid, constantly changing desktops. Amazingly fun to watch. I can't remember who showed me the original work on them (i've had some of the iterations of the screensaver for a few years), but mad props to revseandoe for showing me the desktop one. I'd forgotten all about them until sitting here bored i just happened to go look for them.
