I'm hopeless. I'm a geek. While we were out on our walk last night, we stopped in and talked to Christine, as much because clearance stuff was an extra 50% off as because alexander treats the store as his own personal all-ages dance club.
Anyway, she was in just too bubbly a mood, so i called her a perkigoth, which actually seemed to be really well received. What else could a pierced, tattooed individual with blue, purple, and black hair and general skin tone just slightly less pallid than a standard sheet of printer paper be when in that perky a mood?
Anyway, for whatever reason, perkigoth stuck in my head, and, well, it sounded like the name of a display font- probably not something you'd want to do a lot of text in, but useful for little bits of graphics here and there. So the idea started banging around in my cranium, and this morning, with a fair idea of what i think it looks like, i started doing preliminary concept sketching of what some of the letters might be like. We'll see if it's ever anything developed enough to show anyone.
