damashita's dad passed in the early morning, after some significant health problems recently. I'm glad he went reportedly peacefully, and think that Mr. Tom finally got the words he was waiting to hear: "Pilot, you are cleared for take-off." I think I'll say Kaddish for him, same as I did for my dad.
