I'm really bloody well fed-up with recruiters for whom English is obviously not their first language. More than for any other reason, their lack of comprehension.
I don't know of many with a functional control of the language who, in response to an email from an employment site with a candidate's name, preferred telephone and email, geographic locale and travel availability in the form who would then turn around and ask the candidate for the exact same information.
These same folk also seem to be particularly bad at following up afterwards as well- I had one last week who I'd asked where things stood and had he heard anything from the hiring manager - by responding to the last email contact I'd had with him, no less - that he wasn't sure who I was and could I please clarify why I was in contact with him.
Maybe that's how they do things in Darkest Uighurstan, but it's still baffling.
