Things which make you go 'Hmmmm....'

The gymnasium at Greenwood has a posted capacity of 230. Today for the Democratic caucus they had eight precincts meeting in it, with a counted attendance of over 870 eligible participants (and about three dozen kids old enough to play around and another dozen or two babes-in-arms). Think people might be motivated to seek change? The site director had said that last election's turnout had been the largest she'd seen, but that it was only 250; and that most election cycles (she's been doing them here since '76), there were about as many attendees for the entire site as there were per precinct today.

For those interested, within the precinct itself, we had 112 caucusers, 80 of whom caucused for Senator Obama, resulting in a 7-2 delegate split.
