Jan. 6th, 2008 08:25 pmHaving touched on today (curling! yaaaay!), i'm going to jump into the not so way-back machine and return to yesterday. The expanded clan (including ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
maighdeanmhara, who counts as family now by default, i think) ran off to Ikea, where new bed items were acquired- specifically new pillows for the boys, damashita and me, and a new down comforter- once our older one gets cleaned, the boys will get it, so it'll be new to them (at least assuming we can get one king feather comforter serged down to two twin (probably twin+, actually) comforters). maighdeanmhara picked up some iron-work household bits she'll drastically improve by upgrading the fabrics. After that, we went off to lunch, and then the girls went to the fabric store.
I finally got the new stuff on the bed late last night (well, early in the morning, to be more accurate- i think it was after 3), and wow- this is a significant upgrade adding that much down. Wasn't quite cheap (at over $150), but significantly less than we could have found comparable at Pacific Coast Feather.
Today, after alexander's curling class, we stopped in to visit our friend G. at her store, and gotdamashita a few new outfits which are a little more casual than her Endless Knot pieces.
I love my family.
