Brilliant. Just freakin' brilliant.

Being the usually bright but occasionally daft sort, I'd figured I'd finally get around to updating Squirrelmail on the old domain, so i created an oldsquirrelmail directory in /var/www/squirrelmail, copied all the contents of the squirrelmail directories into it intact so as to have an easy rollback if I goofed something up, changed back to and deleted the squirrelmail directory.

See where this is going? Yes, the backup directory, complete with /config/conf.pl and the working config.php was inside the directory structure i'd deleted, and without shell access, I'm not quite sure how I'd run conf.pl to recreate it.

So, uh, yeah. If you want to send me personal email i can get to from any machine anywhere at any time, it's much more likely to get to me in a timely manner if you send it to the ticky-box dot com address, cause Squirrelmail's already up to date on that one. And i think i have shell there even if i had borked it up.

In other news, i got a package today from Woo Beach Designs. Inside was one of these, as ordered earlier this week. Go, get your own. You'll support some good people, mainly my clone-brother-in-law. No, i don't get referral bonuses, and wouldn't take them if offerred. I'm tempted to pick up one of the Sidhe-cret of Success ones at some point in the near future as well.
