Watching the World Cup semi-final has been the day's highlight. Such a shame that Germany didn't play another minute and a half and take the game to penalties. I still think losing a game in a shootout is a rotten way to have one end, but for a team which wasn't supposed to make it past the round of 16 to play in the semi-finals is a victory of sorts. So- the final on Sunday will be Italy against France or Portugal. Bah. Who cares? It'll probably be a decent match, but no real interest from here. I suppose Italy-France would be interesting- De Azzuri against Les Bleus.

OK, enough babbling. Back to reading.
