Jun. 5th, 2006 08:44 pmWell, my dear old watch is just about dead. It's a Slava automatic like this one:
I've had it for about six years now, so it has given a pretty solid performance. Of late, it has been stopping while still being worn under standard conditions, so i think it has just gotten something into the works which is keeping it from running normally- but since it was about $35 dollars originally, it'd be cost-prohibitive to repair (it'd cost $100 or so to have it properly cleaned). I'm considering a few different options- another of the same model, one nearly identical with a blue face, another with a black face and Arabic numerals.
