This class could have used a lot less talking and a lot more doing- i think it was lecture heavy and light on functionality, and having continual interruptions for off-site participants made things unnecessarily more difficult. I'm still not sure why we paid to train people from a company with which we're no longer contracting, but that's not a huge concern- i'm more dubious that we'll all come back with all these new attested best practices and categorically fail on an institutional level to adopt some if not most of them because there are elements which will be inconvenient for some people.
But, hey, what do i know? Besides, according to Money Magazine, i have the best job in the country- and the top paying one at that. For anyone who knows the stresses of the industry and exactly how not-well-paid i am, this should give you a laugh.
