darkmuffin started his second year of hockey. We have him in the Seattle Junior Hockey programme this year, and it has a group geared toward his age range; something that was sadly lacking in the one he was in at Highlands last year (which was mostly teens with experience getting some smaller-group tutelage). He's outgrown some of his equipment, so after practice we took the trip to Play It Again Sports (not too far from the rink, even) and picked up the pieces he needed (y'know, shoulder pads are kinda a good idea to have properly fitting!). While we were there, i got a new stick to replace the Canadien model 19 which got broken at the end of last year- it's an Easton classic, Steve Yzerman pattern.
Someone came and bought the old loft bed, sodamashita and i put the boys' new bunk bed together. Thi increases the likelyhood we can get scootercomputer to sleep in his own bed. One can at least hope.
