Jul. 12th, 2005 10:20 amWell, The Armoury was productive last night. I took the bag and got out for a few hours last night- to the now-typical place— the Elliott Ave. Starbucks and sat with a black tea lemonade and wrapped up projects.
In about two hours, i answered six inquiries about pricing and designs or what i was doing, finished the wide black and stainless 4-in-1 choker for co-worker G.; the stainless 8-in-1 choker and bracelet set a chunk of which is pictured in the accompanying icon, which i'm wearing today to verify that there aren't any bad closures which are going to scratch (and in part because i like it and can't decide whether to keep it or not); and started on a purple and black anodized aluminum king's maille piece for
damashita. I need to finish the design for the piece for
arienm as well, but aside from the centre, i'm not quite sure what that piece needs to be, other than red and black anodized and stainless, and more lacy than not.
Oh- and i managed to avoid getting prayed for by the bible study group at the next table after they noticed my Brighid's cross and asked if i were "Christian or Catholic" and proceeded to look somewhat puzzled when i answered "Neither." I'm not quite sure if they just accepted the explanation of what it signifies in Gaelic tradition or if they just figured discussing things further was a lost cause. They didn't notice the triskele i also wear, or i'd probably have gotten to explain that one too.
