I had too much tea with Chinese food last night, resulting in an over-caffeinated state which kept me from being able to get to sleep until 6 a.m., which was bad.

In spite of that, i'm not doing too badly now, which is good.

The neighbours sold the car we'd touched on maybe buying, which was bad.

We found out it needed $200 of emissions work which we didn't have to put into it right away, though, so that was good.

We ran some errands, which resulted in us missing the FedEx guy, which was bad.

Fortunately, the letter would be available at their local headquarters or whatever it is at 6 o'clock, which was good.

While we were out, alexander pitched a bit of a hissy about not getting something which he wanted, which was bad.

We did get nicholas a new outfit and a few diaper covers which will replace some of the outgrown ones. Good.

Headed to FedEx to get the letter, but had the van's transmission decide it didn't want to shift out of second gear on the way. Bad.

Fortunately, we weren't on the freeway. Good.

We have to go out of town tomorrow, now with a vehicle which realistically shouldn't do over 35 mph. Very bad.

But the transmission is under warranty, and the mechanic who did the work is also up there, so once we make it there, there's no need for an extra trip. Good.

FedEx's computer system was down, resulting in a one hour wait to get my letter. Bad.

But the job offer detailed therein was for 10% more money than i was expecting. Very good.

But the company isn't on a bus line, which would mean a ten minute walk each way every day from the nearest stop. Since we're heading into winter, that's bad.

Fortunately, though, we found someone who's selling what should be a decent commuter car for dirt cheap, which is good.

I can't take much more of this seesaw up-and-down today, which is bad; but since i didn't really sleep last night, i'm going to try to crash early, so there shouldn't be any more of it, which is good.
