Finally upgraded the computer- now running an Athlon XP 2000.

Update:12:10 am— Holy apeshit, Batman. You don't realize how unsatisfactory playing certain games was until you play them at five times the speed with which you've become accustomed. Initial benchmarks with NHL 2003 and Dungeon Siege are proving very satisfactory indeed.
