Flutterbies!

Had a fun day today- went to the Pacific Science Centre with damashita, alexander, wilson_lizard, her partner Z.(who reminds me immensely of gwynn_aaron and son Sage. Had lots of fun with them- the adults trying to keep the kids in check. Ended up with the six of us going to see the IMAX version of The Lion King- which served to show us where George Lucas got his story ideas and some of his dialogue for Episodes I and II.

The highlight of the day was going into the butterfly exhibit. Took some nice butterfly pictures, some of which will be shown below, and one of which has gotten cropped into a new image for use here and on the SeaGoth boards. Apparently today was my day to have attention lavished upon me from Euphydryas chalcedona or a similar species like Idea leucone, because at various points i had one perched on my nose, and up to two at a time (including what looked like mating behaviour) on my head.

damashita has a new LJ icon as well- she's got the last one cropped into an appropriate size. Not sure what classification it is, though. Since her name means butterfly, it seemed appropriate.

Grrr!

I've got something funky going on. Half the time, my right arm hurts from wrist to shoulder-blade. The other half of the time, it's pretty much numb. I've also had a twitch where my left eyelid flutters slightly every few minutes for the last two and a half days.

Right now, i've got both going on. The lower three fingers are numb and raising my arm from my side hurts.

It'd seem that whatever's impinged in my shoulder/neck is getting zapped in multiple ways. Aren't i lucky?

Damnit, when is the recall issued for this model?

Also, on a completely unrelated note, the only thing that has seemed remotely attractive as far as food goes for the last week or so has been peanut butter crackers. I'm not the pregnant one in the family, so why am i getting the cravings?
