What an evening!

Met revseandoe and hung out at his place for a bit, adjourned to IHOP on the Hill for some completely uninspired and nearly tasteless food, then adjourned for the club (right around the corner- thus the choice of venues for the consumption of comestibles- parking before it got challenging was the focus.) Next time i think we'll be better off to just hit QFC.

Had dressed planning that i'd probably end up spending the majority of the evening doing what for me masquerades as dancing. Didn't dance a step the whole evening. Definitely don't regret not doing so for a moment.

Yet another typically lazy Sunday. Been generally making an inadequate effort at working on finishing the Divine Fool essay- in fact, i've only succeeded in editing it today. Have debated working on the short story as well, but haven't done so either.
I think i just love starting projects, but really need to work on the disipline to finish them.
Hot and pretty sticky today, and i'm sitting at the computer babbling at e-mail and LJ, listening to a bunch of 80s tunes on VH-1 Classic. I wonder if the world is trying to ever so subtly tell me something. Hah! Ok, Van Halen's "Panama" just came on. Must either be a sign that the message has ended, or that the world is laughing at me for thinking that it'd be so unsubtle. Ok, so now i'm going to have to stop writing and laugh at myself.

edit, 9:23: just noticed that i must have mouse-rolled while the mood field was selected. Hopeful, not high. Still not into illicit pharmaceuticals. DOH!
