OK, Hive-mind. Here's one that comes up from time to time: What does your desktop look like?
Here's a rough fascimile of mine at present:

Full size version is
here if you're interested- it shows the visible taskbar (with PSP instead of Photoshop, just because it's lighter in memory, and all I was planning on doing was pasting the screenshot).
This doesn't do it justice, though. I run Webshots, which changes the desktop image hourly, and
Drempels, which allows the desktop background to constantly shift patterns and colours, which, for some odd reason seem to get lost whan I save images to JPG, GIF or PNG formats. If you'd like to see what it really looks like at the moment I captured another screenshot (also today), and have a graphics tool which opens Photoshop PSD files, you can click
here to see it (complete with minimized taskbar (sorry! just noticed it's not visible), background, and musical selections of the moment.
edit: Apparently the QuickTime browser plugin (if you're on a PC system, i think it's native on Macs) will let you view the PSD in motion, just the way it is on the desktop here. This is waaay cool- i didn't realize that PSD supported full-motion video.
