Grrrrrrrr!

I'm going to KILL my boss. Ok, so not literally, but i'd consider throwing him off the Deception Pass bridge.
Spent all day in the lab today preparing machines to act as Terminal Servers for the upcoming International Sufficiency focus week. Initial instructions were:

We need two machines imaged, set up as Terminal Servers. One needs Russian default system and user locales, the other needs Greek. Install the latest Office build and put on the current Office multilanguage user interface (MUI) for both.

I just finished doing all of this except for the Office MUI (which we don't have for Russian or Greek yet) when the job evolved to:

We need the machines imaged and with the Windows MUIs added also. Russian, Greek, and a third one in English with User local set to Hindi. The Hindi machine needs the MUI.

Got Russian and Greek done, when the job changed to:

Hungarian and Greek, no Windows MUI, system and user locales. English with Hindi user locale, Arabic with locally installed Office from the Mondo build with local Arabic user interface.

So, now instead of having two machines up and ready three hours ago, i'm now doing four machines, two of the for the third time. I FUCKING HATE my job. Going to consume large quantities of alcohol tonight.

Oh, yeah. Did i mention my day was going to hopefully end at 2 today so i'd make it home to watch the Red Wings (hopefully) demolish the Colorado Avalanche and advance to the Finals? Instead, i'll probably miss the game entirely because of this bullshit.

GRRRRRRRR! Redux.

It's now evolved to SIX machines. Fortunately none of the first four have changed, but now German and Japanese need to be done also before I go home.

Well, at least the Red Wings are winning. 6-0 at last check. Yaaay!

(no subject)

Finally finshed all the extra work crap. Left at 7:40. At least the commute home was quick. The Red Wings won, 7-0, which is a phenemonal score for the conference finals.
After being told on Tuesday that it was ok to take this upcoming Tuesday and Wednesday off to hang out with Gwynn and Lauren while they're out here on their honeymoon, by 7:00 tonight, i was suddenly indispensible on Wednesday, with no particular rationale given.
Annoyed, pissed off, angry and infuriated are all adjectives which are too mild for my mood at present.
