Happy Earthquake Day!
Feb. 25th, 2002 10:30 pmA year ago today, metro Seattle felt the earth move.
An earthquake centered southeast (if i remember correctly) of Olympia near a town called Nisqually, over a mile below the surface of the earth sent shockwaves felt for hundreds of miles (reports of feeling something of mild to moderate came in from Portland, Oregon; Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia; and Spokane, Washington).
No such thing today. Just the general of testing software in Arabic. On the bright side, no one else has an office next to mine, so i can listen to pretty much whatever i want to at almost any volume. Today, the trend was loud.
Re-reading Tanya Huff's Summon the Keeper which has some really odd and funny bits in it. It's highly recommended for anyone wanting a bit of lighter reading with a metaphysical feel to it. Anyway, i was going to write more, but suddenly, the idea of kicking back in bed and reading sounds like a good idea.
