Thought of the day: who schedules a meeting on the Monday after a holiday for 9 a.m.? Makes no difference to me- i'm here anyway- but none of the other people who are supposed to be attending are....

Update: 9:30 a.m.: By ten after, four of the people who were supposed to be around were, and two others were teleconferenced in, so we were only two short.

The people I work for schedule them at 8:30 AM and they all show up. I think both things say bad things about them.

People do this as a way to "ensure" that their employees show up at the time they want them to show up.... I think it blows.

Given that due to "weekend amnesia" damn few people would be able to talk intelligently about anything, only two reasons seem possible: to make people show up on time, as mentioned above, and to see who's dedicated/crazy enough to have actually prepared for the meeting over the holiday.

Does this mean that Mr. Schwartzenegger is advocating that the state pair gay and lesbian couples? That technically male 1 is married to female 1 and male 2 to female two when they actually function as family units male 1 and 2, female 1 and 2?
