ravencallscrowsI feel incredibly accomplished today.
We have new carpet in our living room, and, although it was a bear with which to wrestle, the installation wasn't particularly difficult. It's roughly a bone colour with various strands of blue and brick red mixed in, and makes the room significantly brighter. And since we got it for free from someone who was remodelling, the price was bang on.
Better yet, we seem to have gotten rid of the cat urine smell left by the previous inhabitants (who's feline seemed to have gone in all four corners of the room), which nothing seemed to mask, much less remove.
