Missing Pharmacist Located in Stanwood
Mar. 28th, 2003 07:21 pmAll in all, it was a pretty damn fine day.
Got the liftgate struts on the van replaced gratis (one of them was missing initially), got alexander's hair cut, got the cats to the vet, got adjusted at the chiropractor and, most importantly, it looks as if we're getting James back.
On the way back into town from Skagit Valley, we stopped in Stanwood to see if by any chance the missing pharmacist happened to be at work. Lo and behold, he was. It's great to see him again- he's kinda another one of those adopted family members.
Anyway, it seems that he's working oodles of hours, dating a gothy girl *shocked amazement- i really figured i'd have to introduce him to S. for him to date anyone vaguely gothy* who's a German national, and, all in all, doing pretty damn well. He's planning to bring her down next Thursday to introduce her to us, and then we're off to dinner and Schizophrenia at the Mercury.
Hopefully we'll manage to fit in lots of playoff hockey- James is a Canadian national and as big a fan of the game as i am, and it's always good to hang out and watch games with him- or with anyone else who knows the game.
krautboy,
mediavore,
h2so4,
revseandoe and anyone else who's a) local and b) a hockey fan: start thinking about the playoffs- it's definitely not fancy here, but we're probably going to watch as many of the interesting series as possible (i couldn't give a rat's ass who wins a Colorado- St. Louis series, since i hate both teams; and hope Dallas and Toronto get dumped first round but don't plan to go out of my way to watch them), and the Detroit Red Wings games are a definite, and folk are generally welcome to come hang out with us.
