Had a nice visit today with

staxxy. We manage to take entirely too little time to keep up, but hopefully will manage to resolve that soon. It was good to catch up on goings-on, general personal life, fairie talk, and the like.

My throat's really pretty raw. It's left me with the low, rumbly voice which i wish would stay around eternally, but will pass when the sore throat does. It was finally time to break out the winter coat, which i've had for years, and is one of my favourite bits of clothing- it's a cashmere and wool blend in a medium cadet grey. Ended up feeling pretty dressy today, even just in black turtleneck and slacks.

Anyway, i'm babbling now. I think it's time to take a quiet evening and read, maybe fit in a little music practice. My fingers could certainly use the exercise.
