As regularly noted, i hate standing and waiting for the bus. To reduce the time spent doing nothing, I usually get off at 5th and Westlake, and walk the few blocks to 4th and Union (rather than the one block to 4th and Stewart). At a leisurely stroll, i still have fifteen minutes or so to wait. This route goes directly past Westlake Center. This opens all sorts of opportunities- Godiva and See's are both right in the path.
Godiva's usually a little too pricey for my budget, but See's is an old friend- we used to live within walking distance of one.
So, now, i've redeveloped the habit of getting my daily chocolate fix. I figure as addictions go, i've fought with abusing a far more dangerous substance. And i get far more variety with my chocolate consumption than i ever did with alcohol.
