Feeling poetic today while sitting at work enduring assorted network problems, so i've scribbled off a few lines.

Nostalgia
i can still smell
the scent of you
lingering on my skin
even though it has been
so many years
since we were together

the wind brushes
through my hair
the way your fingers
used to do
listening closely
i hear your laugh on the breeze

thinking back
on by-gone days
i wish you the best
may the lingering
memory of a kiss long past
brush gently across your lips
