One day back at work, three new job leads. One complete with glowing letter of recommendation from an old ride-share mate. Doubt it pays a living wage, but we'll see. Won't be too pessimistic yet.
"Now, GIR, let us rain some doom down on the filthy heads of our enemies." Let's see how fast i can put in my notice because something else has come along.
No, GIR, you can't sing the Doom song for the next seventeen hours....
Let's see what else is up. Weekend's agenda includes Dee and Travis' wedding tomorrow (and we get to dress up! Black velvet doublet and medieval shirt are definitely going to be part of the ensemble, and, as usual, i'm the "in case of emergency" representative of the clergy), and nothing definite tomorrow night or Sunday aside from going to pick up the wardrobes for the bedroom with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
damashita and Tari. Camilla's stopping by before the fashion show at the Catwalk tomorrow night, but i doubt i'll go to that. Will probably just stay in, put the wardrobes together and watch hockey.
While rooting around in the bags of clothing downstairs looking for the doublet, i got thinking about Hallowe'en costume parties. Not sure i'll go to any of the ones i've heard about so far, but thinking about it. Completely undecided as to what to wear if i do. Might be fun to dress out as the Red Army lieutenant-colonel (podpolkovnik) of communications troops i most assuredly wasn't.
